Ap 2 Versus Callaway Tour

"I am human" By the way ...

Excerpts from discussions between Krishnamurti and Lakshmi Prasad
(January 1981-December 1985)
in "Ultimate Words"

" I am humanity "

- Prasad:
Could you explain this strange statement:" I am human, and not the community "?

- Krishnamurti:
We are all humans and we need to be considered as such. Each of us, however, is generally treated as a single element of a mass, and perceived as the only sign of the community.
Everywhere and always, our fellows are sacrificed on the altar of ideology.
In fact any solution must be formulated at the person.
Treating human beings as a herd, a collective entity, and use them for political or economic, inevitably leads to the worst horrors.
See our school in Rishi Valley. Each of our classes has about twenty students. What is very little compared to other schools. Nevertheless I suggested that the number be reduced to twelve per class. And I think that teachers are in full agreement with me.
My intention is that each child is followed with the utmost attention. Then it can truly flourish.
If you look at the man on the only community plan, you automatically lose all compassion and you can be good. Worse, you become very indifferent, even cruel.

Instead, if I know my conscience is the conscience of all human beings, I am able to treat the individual as a person, not as an anonymous lost in the mass.

Do you understand now why I say to mankind?

From conflict between good and evil

- Prasad: A
consider the world as it is, the unbelievers seem to prosper while the righteous continue to suffer. How to interpret this?

- Krishnamurti:
What a disbeliever?
And what do you call "evil"?
Also, how are they practicing really well.
If the "good" is the opposite of evil, so it's not real good, well-born but an alleged direct harm.

The genuine goodness, it transcends the separation between good and evil.

A good man is a deep whole being, that nothing could divide.
This one does not say a thing to its opposite. What he thinks, he says, and what he says, he does.
The property that usually prevails in this world is born just in response to evil.
This form of well-springs of thought dominated by fear, especially fear of society.
Whoever looks in practice is the recognition of the world, and manifest his disappointment when the rest is unable to obtain it.
His acts, poisoned by perpetual conflict, are devoid of any merit.
Indeed all forms of property caused by the thought already bears within it the seeds of evil.

However, nothing prevents the genuine goodness.
If the right wants to act, it does so without considering the consequences.
Yes, it works, issued his own thoughts as the opinions of others ...
